Dwelling in Argentina – Just a dream away

Argentina? To far! To expensive to fly! Strange culture! When the country is mentioned in combination with purchase of property, all the prejudices and arguments come fast. But that has to be because we don’t know enough about the country, or maybe we don’t have the guts to take a chance in life. The fact is that its just as far to Thailand, less of a time difference, just as cheap and a culture that is more equal to the western culture.
Article imageArgentina is not an obvious alternate when it comes to purchase of property abroad. There are not many projects out, and few people consider this as an opportunity. But now Krohn estate have exiting projects in San Eliseo just half an hour drive from Buenos Aires, 20minutes from the airport.

Argentina and Buenos Aires are only a dream away, literally. There are flights from Frankfurt, London, Paris, Madrid and other European cities every day. When boarding the plane in Oslo after a full working day it takes only a night and you arrive at nine o’clock local time the next morning. You can be picked up at the airport and have the whole day to your disposal in your home in San Elisio.
The time difference is less than you would imagine, four hours in winter and five in summer. Yes it costs a bit to fly down, about 7-8 000 NOK, but it amazingly inexpensive to live. Forget all prejudices! Argentina is an amazing country, with a lovely culture and agreeable people.
Article imageArgentina has been chosen as one of the best countries to travel, invest and to live in by:
• Lonley Planet: “…Retire to dirt cheap Argentina…”
• The Times: “…Argentina, this year’s hotspot…”
• The Times: “…Some of the best property bargains in the world…”
• Washington Post: “…I had to keep reminding myself that I was in South America –It’s like Paris…”

There are in total about 500 emplacements at San Eliseo Golf & Country Club. Some buyers have bought two emplacements to get a bit more space around their house. An average emplacement is about 900 square meters.

A principle at San Eliseo is that none of the houses are alike. This is important to preserve the exclusiveness of the area.
