Dubrovnik – a complete travel experience
Dubrovnik in Croatia is a fantastic city. This city is complete in the way that you get everything from great beaches, shopping, restaurants and nightlife to stunning old architecture, history and culture. Here is every aspect that Norwegians on vacation are looking for present. The beautiful old part of the city is still intact after the war, it is charming and it is very distinctive. Dubrovnik is an exceptionally clean city and a familiar city with very good standards at hotels and restaurants. Along the coast of Croatia there are not mile long beaches, but colourful small bays and crystal clear water. Croatia is also easily available in Europe and is only a few hours flight from Norway.

| Jordan |
Petra – the most beautiful place on earth
For many years Norwegians have travelled to Eliat in Israel. But on the other side of the Aqababay is Jordan and the old city Petra. The variations both in adventure and colours are fantastic. In the sea you find some of the best snorkelling and scuba areas in the world, with colourful fish and corals, in the Wadi Rum desert on the way to Petra you can find some of the most beautiful and exiting desert landscape on earth, and in the city of Petra all the mystic and the history you desire.
It was the nomads Nabateanerne that established this community about 9000 years ago, and at the most there were ten thousands of people living in Petra. But after an earthquake people moved and Petra was forgotten until it was rediscovered in the early 1800s.
Petra means rock, and a lot of the city is carved in to the mountain. Beautiful, mysterious and well worth a visit. The best months to visit Aqaba and Petra are June or September.

| Ngorongoro |
Ngorongoro – a lovely hole in the ground
The Ngorongoro crater in Tanzania is a stunning crater that deserves a few days of your time. Very often one visits Ngorongoro on transit to something else, and then discover that one should have more time here. It’s a shame, because it’s so much to discover of nature, animals and not at least in ones own head.
You should go to Ngorongoro with this crater as your final destination, as a ones-in-a-lifetime experience. Live nice i.e. in Ngorongoro Crater Lodge and really enjoy life in a slow tempo. It is quite expensive, but absolutely worth it.
The animals eat and hunt right outside your window, the view takes your breath away and the atmosphere is an adventure on its own. It is actually recommended to go here in the wet season, when there are fewer tourists, the crater is greener, the mosquitoes are gone and the air is pure.
