On two wheels in hell – Pål Anders Ullevålseter
Pål Anders Ullevålseter has done it again – driven the world’s toughest motorcycle race – Paris-Dakar. To a 4. Place.
Great Adventure - motor sports, mountain climbing, parachuting

He got his first moped when he was eight years old, but it wasn’t until he was eighteen he got on a race track. From 1987 to 1996 he drove motor cross, he did well, but he realized that he would never be a world champion. The competition is art and the drivers extremely talented. So he got out and got into Enduro instead. He prefers the combination of longer days, longer legs and a lower tempo. The results came quickly. He has become a Nordic Champion twice, European Champion twice and five times among the ten best in the World Championship. The Norwegian has been arranged five times and Pål Anders Ullevålseter has won every time. He has entered the Paris-Dakar rally five times. The first time was in 2002 where he got in 9th He has been among the top ten in every completed race. The nature makes a huge impression on you when you’re driving through the desert. It is a challenge to deal with the loneliness. There are 2000 people involved in the Paris-Dakar race. Yet you have to deal with everything on your own; the heat, motor breakdowns, overturns loneliness and lack of sleep. The racers know the risk, and they don’t drive for the prices. It’s like a drug, dangerous, but exiting!
