There are golf courts and there are hotels, but then there are great golf courts and great hotels. And there are fantastic golf courts and stunning hotels, K Club falls in the last category.
Article imageThis is pure luxury in combination with a couple of Europe’s best golf courts, both designed by the living golf legend Arnold Palmer. And it was here the worlds most prestigious golf tournament was arranged – The Ryder Cup 2006.

The whole hotel with the 69 rooms is held in a classic British style. It looks like a gigantic home, with one living room after another. Beautiful fire places, lovely furniture and fantastic art. The owner of Dr. Michael Smurfit has Ireland’s largest private collections paintings from the Irish artist Jack B. Yeates. Everything is put together to a warm and cosy atmosphere.

The river Liffey is running around the hotel and all the way to Dublin. If you cross the river you get to the Smurfit Course Club house.
